You are invited to a private group campout at the Cove Creek Lower Group Camp, which is nestled along Cove Creek in the lush forests of the Appalachian Mountains in Western NC. The site offers opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, and more in one of the most scenic areas in the state.

FALL CAMPOUT AT LOWER COVE CREEK GROUP SITE
Thursday October 22 - Sunday October 25, 2026
$15 per person total, regardless of whether you stay 1, 2 or 3 nights
The group site has plenty of room for tents and RVs. It is equipped with picnic tables, vault toilets, campfire rings and drinking water. You will camp next to your vehicle. There is no power at the site, it is primitive camping.
The campground lies in Pisgah National Forest in Western North Carolina.
The surrounding land boasts mile-high peaks, cascading waterfalls and slopes thickly forested with hardwoods. The group camping area is adjacent to both Cove Creek and the beautiful Davidson River.
